Summit County in the Summertime
Summertime in Summit county offers tremendous access to the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
All of the ski resorts have super-fun, family oriented activities during the summer and fall. Check out the links on the Skiing page to see what the resorts have to offer during the summer.
The Lily Pad Lake trail is located about 1/4 mile from the condo. It's an easy walk through the forest to two beautiful mountain ponds.
The Buffalo Mountain trailhead is also located about 1/4 mile up from the condo. This trail will get you above treeline. This is a real hike. Make sure you get an early start, bring food and lots of water, and be prepared for a sudden changes in weather.
